Tupac Shakur might have been proud of the 27 year old rap artist, “Cronikole aka Cyrus” as he took his first leap into the world of music and entertainment in 2003 being crowned the New Mexico state champ in “GOT MILK GET FAMOUS” a contest held nation wide September 7th 2003. From that day on, it was all work and no play for the Albuquerque Hip Hop artist! Within the years Cronikole has achieved many goals and hit many dead ends on the road to success. Such as, finding himself incarcerated for drug trafficking and possession of a stolen firearm in 2005 and 2006. After many unforgotten goals, the still young artist began retrieving himself as a top musician in the underground New Mexico Hip Hop crowd. After pushing his way threw he finally completed his first album titled “The Tru Cyrus Story” ready for distribution online worldwide and locally under his own label “Twisted Mind Music”. Making a decision to leave “Bloc Wize Entertainment” to a unfortunate disagreement between himself and label owner “Ronald Moore aka Gonzoe” a past member of the “Ice Cube” group “Kausion” and the “Yukmouth” group “The Regime”. Now in 2010 Cronikole is hoping to pave the way for New Mexico Hip Hop, and be as a breath of fresh air to the already existing music and entertainment industry.
