ABOUT ME
My name is Charlene Perry, but I go by Lene. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. I am 22 years of age but, I began writing at the age of 13. I graduated from Jane addams High School, where I performed several talent shows. I performed at a few festivals in my hometown and I also performed at clubs. I previously had a meeting with Lenny Santiago at DefJam, but that was unsuccessful. At that time I was ready to give up on music. After that, I performed at scripts nightclub and I felt like somebody. The crowd was going ham, they loved me. The owner came up to me after my performance and said he would like me to perform there on special events because he like what he heard, we exchanged numbers and things have been going well since. Sometimes things can be hard, but at the end of the day its gone always be someone that see's potential in you!
