Camp Jay was born Jerome Carter in new orleans,la was signed to Big Body Rec. in 1998 as apart of the shot callaz releasing compilation album Big Body Session.along that time camp jay performed in shows with major artist such as Cash money rec. B.G,no-limit mystikal,soulja slim,D.M.X,Scar-face,Ying Yang twins etc.in places such as florida,california,texas,arkansa,georgia,alabama,etc.then Camp Jay went solo to release his first solo album in 2006 owning his own label Camp Jay Ent.LLc through Sonicwave International for major distributon.the album is Bring It On pt.1 which is still selling over seas as well as the U.S now he is about to release Bring It On pt.1 but his first single will be titled " My People " so keep your eyes and ears open for this hungry and determined artist with his versitile skillz of singing,rapping,and writing.
