Featuring production by the young phenom Rmur Beats, the Number Ground Theory EP is a bridge between classic boom bap and new school flavor. Written entirely by Era, in the span of 2 weeks during morning bus rides to work, we find the emcee delivering some of the most honest words in hip hop. 9 Tracks have made the cut and the Number Ground Theory EP will be a great shift in the direction that hip hop is currently headed in. We also see Era take a different direction, meshing the lyrical content of previous releases, Paint By Numbers and Skyhorse. Fans of both groups will find a nice balance in this new release.

era has been involved in the San Antonio Hip Hop scene over a decade and founded Alamo City Hip Hop in 1997. ACHH covered and exhibited graffiti found in and around the city of San Antonio, TX. era was also 1/3 of Hip Hop group Skyhorse that featured Kwizno Clusaki on production and DJ Klassen on cuts. Skyhorse disbanded in 2003. In early 2004, era formed Paint By Numbers with Cros1. DJ Tech-Neek later joined the group and the trio released the underground classic, "Certified Quality," in 2006. PBN is currently working on their sophomore album, entitled, "Not For Profit." era was featured in the graffiti documentary, Clogged Caps 3: The Movie that was released in 2005 and screened again in theaters in 2011. era has also released two mix cd's (era some music i like and i think you will too, pt.1 and pt.2.) and is currently working on an all instrumental EP, entitled, "Cutting Floor Beats." era is a teacher at Desert Mirage High School in Thermal, CA.
