Born the middle child of three, some may say that is what sparked his drive to excel. The truth is Quest is a natural born entertainer. A surprise request from a teacher to perform at an assembly uncovered his passion for music. After that he sang at every opportunity available to him, and ample opportunity was presented through his church and school. At the age of 17, Quest began to teach himself to play the piano and started producing music. During that time he also began songwriting. Since then he has written and produced countless songs in various genres. His production is influenced by Timbaland, the Neptunes, and Dr. Dre, but with a style all his own. Quest didn’t stop at producing, singing, and writing songs; he is an incredibly gifted dancer as well. His style of dance is reminiscent of Michael Jackson’s blended with many of today’s latest dance styles. His seemingly effortless dancing alone is enough to mesmerize any audience. The combination of Quest’s talents is what sets him apart from any other artist both past and present. Quest is the embodiment of the term "one man band", he has it all and does it all. He can take you to the club with the next big club record, or just as comfortably croon to a heartfelt, emotional ballad.
